Terms & Conditions

Email Communication Policy: Please ensure that you provide the correct email address when purchasing your subscription. Email serves as our primary means of communication throughout the season. To ensure you receive all our updates, we recommend adding thegrownkind@gmail.com to your contact list or safe sender list. We cannot be held responsible if emails are filtered to spam by your email provider.

Pick-Up Policy: While we handle the growing, harvesting, and arranging of flowers, it's your responsibility to remember to pick them up. We advise setting reminders on your calendar or phone for each pick-up date. With over 100 members picking up flowers each month, we are unable to hold bouquets or track down individuals. Any unclaimed bouquets left by the end of the next business day will be donated to community organisations such as schools, hospitals, and nursing homes. If you miss your bouquet, rest assured it will brighten someone else's day! If for some reason you can’t make it that day or go on holiday, you can send a friend or family member to collect for you :)

How does risk-sharing work for a flower CSA? We have worked out the timing for the blooming season which is most abundant. However, over the course of the season, we can’t always predict the weather or other natural circumstances. In times of uncontrollable environmental factors that could affect blooming (weather, pest, disease) there could be an odd week where we are short on blooms. This will always be communicated to you and we will always attempt to make it up in more abundant weeks. We consider our CSA members as part of our extended "farm family," and will always prioritise the finest blooms for you. The overall goal and priority is to provide consistent, high quality, abundant blooms to you for the whole season you have subscribed to. This is just here as a fail safe, as much as we try, no farm/farmer is immune to pest, disease and good ol’ mother nature.

Crop insurance for small farms and flower farms doesn't really exist. Instead, we rely on our CSA members as our investors and our insurance. We take a "share the risk, reap the reward" approach. While we always do our best to spoil our members, by purchasing the CSA you are agreeing to take on some risk.

Refunds - Once the season has started we cannot offer anyone a refund, we are happy however to transfer your subscription to a friend or family member. This is because we grow according to how many subscriptions we have sold.

Varying beginning dates - as our flowers are seasonal no two years are the same. We’ve done our best to estimate the beginning and end of each season, but often these dates change! When you purchase your subscription, we will give you the estimated start date and, once we can confirm, a specific date for the first blooms arriving. We will ensure communication with you is as early as possible (at least as week in advance) and if the flowers are still blooming, there’s the potential to have an extended season at no extra cost.
